Just saw Dorothy Rabinowitz panelist from the Wall Street Journal discussing Ted Cruz. Surrounded by three dopey male neocons. Nailed it. Remarkable. Intellectual (good kind), articulate and well spoken. If you haven't noticed her before, take note - great lady from what I could tell.

As you remember, she was AWESOME during the impeachment wars.

I have to admit I didn’t notice her then.

The Ted Cruz announcement is forcing every media personality to take a position. Very revealing. Some are confirming what I already suspected, others like Krauthammer reconfirm their one note samba persona.

Dorothy earned my respect and admiration today like she did yours some years back. ...and that is saying something.

Refreshing.

She has been a hero of mine ever since she exposed the horrific witch hunts in the 1980's.

Her real strength came in the 1980s when she fought against the child daycare/child rape hysteria.

I think she’s down on Palin, though, if I remember correctly.

I haven't read her in a while.

Didn't know that she was still at the top of her game. Good to hear.

Can’t find the video. Did you mean to just link to the show’s front page or does Fox not allow deep linking?

Sorry. URL is a required field. I was commenting (real time) on the segment I saw her on.

I’ll look for video and post if I can find. It’s worth the effort.

She was head an shoulders about the boys on that show.

I think Dorothy is a tad bit ELITIST, so Ted with his Ivy League Education is OK, but Sarah is not.

Two of the "dopey male neocons" were: Paul Gigot, WSJ Editor and chief; Daniel Henninger and some "dopy dude" I didn't catch.

Remember, no matter how "conservative" the WSJ sounds, especially the Editorial Page, they are corporatists, Chamber of Commerce supporters, all Open Borders all of the time!

Gigot was once the "Big guy conservative" on the McGlaughin Group (PBS), whom I enjoyed for years thinking him an actual conservative! Dittos Henninger, whom I once read religiously on the Ed. page of the WSJ.

I finally quit my subscription in 2007 when I watched them trash anyone who wasn't for Amnesty, dittos Mark Belling who was subbing for RUSH at that time and still does after a long absence after me and many others I'm sure, blasted RUSH for having sub on his show the exact opposite view of his on Amnesty!

Rabinowitz, no dyed-in-the wool conservative as I assume you are, I certainly am, spoke the truth though she's a NE snob on grass roots values and morality, probably had to choke those words out to say them about Cruz and his support.

I imagine she had to wash her mouth out, rinsing frequently, followed by strong drink later but at least she spoke the truth, even though she hates it.

Someone else here posited that she has to give Cruz credit for graduating with honors from the liberal elite schools and his clerking for Supreme Court Chief Wm. Rehnquist, though she probably thought him waaaay to provincial as well.

Remember, none of those people were born again believers and that does make a difference, a big difference, ala Ted Baxter-O'Reilly!

Thanks!

"dyed-in-the wool conservative" yes

I imagine she had to wash her mouth out, rinsing frequently, followed by strong drink later but but at least she spoke the truth, even though she hates it.

Hell of a first impression though...

Not among the "great unwashed" that so many pro-lifer, pro-family types are deemed to be.

She's one of those of whom Rush speaks so frequently, when he says people come up to him begging him to shush the pro-life voices!

Right!

That’s why I ended up a little disappointed in her.

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)If Fox News tries to sell Ted Cruz as the conservative Barack Obama, are they damning him or helping him? There are so many laugh-out-loud moments in this clip it’s hard to know where to begin. Dorothy Rabinowitz hails Cruz as a magnificent orator, hard-liner on foreign policy, and one who can inspire the conservative base to action. But overall, this is an on-air attempt to damn Cruz with faint praise, just as they did in an editorial earlier this week. It’s clear both from the WSJ editorial and Peggy Noonan’s pile-on the next day that Cruz is hardly their...
