A man who spent almost 12 days living in a tree on land that's set to become a $24.5 million golf complex in New Orleans City Park told WVUE Fox 8 News he "was a little sleep deprived, hungry and angry" during his time in the tree.
Jonathan "Lloyd" Boover fell from the tree March 24 when he lost his balance while greeting one of his supporters.
Hours after his fall, City Park officials cut down the tree Boover had lived in since March 13.

Pictures and info on the tree guy.
I remember a NAKED as a jaybird tree sitter back around 1970 on Dickson Street in Fayetteville Arkansas. Protesting the Vietnam war. His name was WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON.
A friend of mine interviewed him for a local radio news cast.
That’s not even a natural area. I believe that section of the park used to be the site of the Higgins boat factory in WWII. The tree was probably planted there when the area was renovated into a park after the plant closed down.
Well, no sheet. If I was living in a tree, i would be sleep deprived, hungry and PO’d too. What’s his contact number as I have a bushel of cactus out in the back he can sleep on.
so lame... he only lasted 12 days... haha...
How do tree sitters go to the bathroom?
I hope the pigeons and birds had 12 days of taking a dump on this clown LOL
Show me a Leftist who is NOT angry!
Simple solution:
Call Animal Control,
Apply tranquilizer dart to target.
One and done.

This area actually was a golf course before Katrina.
Obviously able bodied, with no job and living on taxpayer handouts...IOW, scum.
I know. I used to live right on Robt E Lee just up the street before moving to the Northshore. There used to be 4 golf courses in the park and the parking lots were overflowing on the weekends.
The Higgins boats were built on the other side of the park over by Delgado, but I did read in the comments to another article that this guy was in a cypress that had been planted 50 years ago or something when a golf course was built there.
Gaydar going off. Waaaaaah! Look at MEEEEE! I want ATTTTTTENTION!!!!
I feel sorry for the tree choppers having to pull limbs from all around where he took dumps. He should be fined and sentenced to cleaning public toilets for the next six months.
stupid should hurt.
I think the complex was very large and included the Delgado campus and all along the lakefront. There were no homes in what is now Lakeview and Lake Terrace, etc. I’ve seen overview photos from that era near my old house and it said the buildings were construction and administration facilities for Higgins boats and seaplanes along the St John, London canal, etc.
