Suppressed vs Unsuppressed

Who's had a chance to shoot their pistol with a silencer? Those that own a silencer know it's pretty
cool to shoot with one. For those that don't have the privilege of shooting one, here's a quick demo
of it and you can see and hear the differences of suppressed and unsuppressed. Have a look.

Silencers are an all around good idea - reducing noise protects the shooter’s hearing and reduces the disturbance to others in the area. We need to repeal the entire NFA, starting with removing the silly $200 fee to register a silencer and the even sillier one year wait for that approval.

It is a common courtesy to any neighbors within earshot.
It makes my shooting experience more enjoyable.
It helps protect what remains of my hearing from my misguided “ear-pro’s-for-sissies” youth.
It is something I enthusiastically recommend!

Just wondering - with modern supressors, does the barrel of the weapon have to be drilled/threaded for the suppressor, or an adapter, or anything like that?
