'This isn’t Loon Mountain. This is the city of Boston.'

I am having a difficult time distinguishing the difference.

Why would a Boston Mayor care? He or his predecessor didn’t care about his goons going house-by-house to illegally search for some Muslim Terrorists that they should have stopped before their handiwork even started.

Cradle-to-grave “what we think is good for you care, even if we have to kill you” care.

I used to jump off our roof into snow piles all the time (we had a rambler with a walk out basement, so that was where the real fun was at). We would jump or slide off the roof into the back yard onto huge piles of snow. it was about a 20 foot drop and a real soft landing.

There may have been some danger to it, but I never experienced negative consequences in the hundreds of times I completed the “stunt”.

Or as the outgoing head of the MBTA said when she first took the post (not a direct quote): It is good to come to a part of the country where the citizens realize government knows what is good for you.

Applicants for the Darwin Award. . . .

The Nanny state has a problem keeping alive those who vote their party into power. Otherwise, the gene pool would be cleansed and we would all be better off.

Then again, all dead voters are Democrats. But I guess it is less risky to actually have living voters than voting for the dead.

We did this back in the 70’s in Buffalo all the time from one of my neighbors roofs. They also had a walk out basement in the back. The snow would drift in there and pile up 8-10 feet deep.

FYI, Loon Mountain is a ski area in NH’s White Mountains about 2 1/2 hours north of Boston on route 93. Its nick name is Lunatic Mtn because it is SO crowded on the weekends. It is the easiest drive on the highway going north from Boston to a big ski area(2100’ vertical drop). It is about 5 miles off the interstate.

Cleveland is set to break something like a 136 year old record cold temperature today. I keep hearing more and more of that at the same time the climate swamis keep mouthing off about record high world temperature averages.

Somebody is full of feces.

The GeoLoc of the mountain in question is not the salient issue.
