A young, married woman with a bunch of drunk estates-and-trusts lawyers after midnight ... not a good thing. I was naïve back than, but not THAT naïve.
I never tried drinking at work.
When the Commander, First Sergeant or Branch Chief distributes beer then it’s time to drink at work!
That’s HER! I wouldn’t even buy Girl Scout Cookies from her, no doubt she’s already poisoned the whole carton of boxes with opium./
Yeah, not a good situation to be in, unless you are laying the groundwork for a lawsuit maybe.
I only drink when I’m alone or with someone.
A few years ago I worked at a division of university where the HR lady came in habitually hung over and at least once said by reliable witnesses, came to work with an overcoat and bag with supposedly nothing on underneath. Party On!
“”Police said they were called to East Elementary School at 710 SE 3rd St. at 2 p.m. after receiving a report that a teacher was observed with a can of beer in her classroom.””
That makes as much sense as calling the police because a 6 year old throws a tantrum in a classroom. I’ll bet the police showed up with a SWAT team and the fire department followed up with all their equipment because of a teacher who apparently was out of line and the school couldn’t handle it on their own. Was she dangerous? Was she going to throw a beer can at the principal?
We truly have gone nuts in this country! What would it take to surprise us anymore? I don’t have a clue!! Maybe for obozo to admit he’s a fraud and resign? Yeah, that would do it and we’d have cause for celebration with our cans of beer!
I don’t blame her, sometimes alcohol is the only way you can stand to be around the little sh-ts. S>
All I wanted was $9 an hour for typing and filing.
Ping
The best things to eat at work were the liquor infused chocolates from Trader Joe’s at Christmas time. It kept the office happy.
Colt 45? Michelob?
does the brand really matter?
It didn’t until the school district spokesman made a particular point of it. Maybe there are advertising revenues involved.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Just remember, ‘It’s not a tumor! It’s not a tumor!”
“....to accept the resignation .....”
I am missing something here. Why was the teacher offered the option of resigning and not just outright fired?
