Jeff Gordon announced that 2015 will be the last year for him to run in NASCAR full time. He hasn't ruled out individual events after 2015 but has not announced any plans. He remains an equity owner in Hendricks Motorsports and will remain active in NASCAR as an equity owner and supporting his foundation.
The fact that Chase Elliott is expected to move into the Hendricks Motorsports Cup stable in 2016 probably had a to do with the announcement.
I still think of him as, “that kid Gordon.”
Boy do I feel old.
Good. Could never stand that little punk.
Well that was to be expected. It would not surprise me greatly to hear that a certain individual played a role in this decision. It also would not surprise me to hear that a certain sponsor has decided to deviate from the course of action that was previously agreed upon.
Very good in his craft though. I give him that for sure.
Love him or hate him, he is a Hall of Fame Racer. And he knows how to marry good looking women. That second marriage sure shut down the gay rumors real fast.
Good, I hope RFR will do great... and Richard Petty, Penske and Front Row...I hate the Chevy teams...and Toyota, too.
Don’t forget Terry and Bobby, and Ward and Jeff.
I’m not really a Gordon fan, but he got robbed of the championship last season by the punk Keselowski. I might be a little bitter too.
