Thought someone out there might enjoy. Blind Faith was a group that included Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood. I think all the greatest bands came from that era.

I heard Elvis Presley’s “(Marie’s the Name) His Latest Flame” today on radio. Nice tune.

You'll probably dig this, from the group that Clapton joined after Blind Faith that led into Derek & the Dominoes later on:

I probably have all of you beat. I don’t go as far back as Rudy Vallee, but give me the oldies of the late 40s. Nice mixed music, nice voices, and I still swoon at Sinatra’s “All or Nothing at All”.

Actually it has nothing to do with carpetry, but an oldster who knows some good shag dancers could say “they really know how to cut a rug!” LOL!

If you’re gonna use Clapton, you’ve gotta go here...

How old is “older” anymore? I heard 80’s music on the oldies station just the other day. :)

Things to make you feel old: The naked baby on Nivrana's Nevermind album is old enough to drink legally.

I did not know that. I guess everyone just played wherever they could to get money at that time.

Back in the 90s at the railroad I worked for, we hopped up the shop stereo in the enginehouse... one addition was a turntable. This album got heavy airplay on many late nights doing “after hours projects”.

“Presence” not Message, but no matter, Traffic did some great stuff but this ain’t it.

Instead, have a listen to Steve Winwood solo acoustic guitar, out in his barn:

Yeah, I like that one, but I don’t even think it’s the best Cream song, much less the best Clapton. Plus, there is so much good Clapton that people never hear, why post one they will hear on any rock station pretty regularly?

I listen to Hits 1 and The Pulse on sat radio. My wife likes the same music...2000’s and today's music. I can't stand 70’s music, even though it's what I grew up with. I've always thought of 70’s music as the dark ages and 80’s as the Renaissance.
