I said the online version was current. However, if you look at that hard copy, its the Sept./Oct 2014 edition- which I never saw in the bookstores as I usually do.
You still have bookstores? Wow! I miss them terribly! I used to get the hard copy of American Spectator but I believe they went online-only some time ago. Like a lot of magazines these days. Sad development in my opinion. I still love real magazines, real books. I want to turn real pages. Don’t care for sound effects on tablets. Don’t want audio books. I want to read page by page.
I bought a two year subscription to American Spectator magazine about 5 years ago. I think I got two editions then they went bankrupt and apparently reorganized yet I never received what I bought. I wouldn’t trust them in any business transaction.
I moved up to American Splendor
LOL
Harlequin?
Seems to me they’ve been asking for donations recently so wouldn’t be surprising if they can’t publish hard copies anymore.
Sorry.
I was suppose to read all of what you wrote, correctly?
When did that become a rule?
I wouldn’t give them Jacksh!t. They screwed me and I wish upon them complete failure and a slow painful death to those responsible.
“What happened to the American Spectator magazine?”
don’t know, wasn’t watching.
How did they screw you?

I remember subscribing to that, back before they went with glossy paper, which probably cost them a mint.
I used to subscribe to American Spectator, back in the days of their large-size format.
Quite sad. Back in the day, this was a worthwhile periodical.
“I used to subscribe to American Spectator, back in the days of their large-size format.”
So did I. They used to have some excellent writers at one time, Tom Bethell being one of them. He and Sobran cooked up the idea of the political/media Left operating as “The Hive”, a model that’s still valuable.
I let my subscription lapse after TAS ran a cover story hit piece on Pat Buchanan by the vile Canadian opportunist David Frum. Frum made a career out smearing conservatives in print, and you have to question the “conservative” rags that published him, TAS being one of the first.
Looks like I need to call them in the morning

Maybe it was in the fine print that they only publish only one magazine a year.
