To the writers of the article, it’s venomous, not poisonous and thanks to the fear mongering of the media about exotic pets, this tactic will be at least decently effective to the uneducated, ignorant public.

If people learned and educated themselves about things like scorpions, spiders, snakes, etc.... this wouldn’t be an issue. Sadly, people are cowards and fear just about everything now days.

Or injecting "volunteers" with ebola or (if they can get it) smallpox and flying them here. But we don't need quarantines. No, no, no. Bad things will happen if we try to do that. I haven't quite figured out what that is, but it will be bad if we close the border to disease.

Canisters packed with poisonous varieties of scorpion are being blasted into towns and villages, which explode on impact - scattering the scorpions and causing panic among the innocent local population.

Wouldn't the impact and the explosion tend to kill the scorpions?
