I would never visit NYC
Neither would I. My parents have started to take our kids (two at a time) on one big, special trip. In a few years it will be our older girls’ turn. As our daughters are ballet dancers, one of the ideas is New York for a ballet performance. I’ve said absolutely not, but I’m know to be overprotective so mom and dad just laugh and brush me off. I really do not want any of my children there. Ever.
I visited for the first time last August and it was quite nice - I was pleasantly surprised at how nice, clean, and safe it was. It wasn’t perfect, but quite fun and interesting. Lots to see and do. Tons of people, but we were able to figure out how to work around that. MUCH better than I expected!
