I am surprised he said “nah” instead of “arrrgghh.”

A man accused of stabbing a supermarket worker with a pair of scissors told police he was a pirate from 1776.Would I be going out on a limb, if I said I did not believe he was a pirate from 1776?

Something doesn't sound right here. The Santa Maria ran aground in 1492 and was turned into a fort. If he really came here on it in 1776 that's 284 years at sea. In a fort. Wouldn't the scissors be rusty by now?

This man is not living in the same world that we live in. He must have thrown his pills away again. A little time in confinement will wipe the smirk off of his face.

The least we can do is to extend to him every courtesy that was extended to captured pirates in 1776.

There once was a pirate named Gates
who thought he could sword-fight on skates.
But he fell on his cutlass
which rendered him nut-less
and practically useless on dates.

If he is a pirate then perhaps he would explain to us all why they couldn’t pull off a simple prevent D last night and lost the game to UCF in the last second.

Blackbeard maybe, but not Columbus. He is obviously telling a fib.
