Russia has brought in a new that has already gained massive support and acceptance within the Russian realm: pedophiles will be castrated. Here is a video on this whole new development that we should all be supporting:
According to a Russian report:
The Russian parliament has approved a law on pedophilia in a first reading. From now on people found guilty of sex crimes against children under the age of 14 will face chemical castration, while repeat offenders face a life sentence.
According to the new law, the decision on a convict’s obligatory chemical castration will be made through a forensic psychiatrist’s report requested by the court, which may ultimately turn to other medical measures, MP Dmitry Vyatkin explained to Itar-TASS.
“It would be unwise to limit the medical measures to just castration, as in some cases it may not help,” Vyatkin said.
At the same time, some of the convicts may ask for voluntary chemical castration, even if the victim was over 14. This may help them get parole if they are already serving a sentence, or a more lenient sentence if they are still being tried. However, in the latter case the final decision will be up to the court.
The law also banned suspended and deferred sentences for those found guilty of sex crimes against a child under the age of 14. And from now on they can ask for parole only after serving at least 80 per cent of their sentence.
The new law comes amid increased concerns over sexual transgressions against minors in Russian society.

Although I certainly agree with this punishment in principle, I worry about those falsely accused, as happened in California (just one example), and which could certainly happen in the zero-rights land of Putin.
I like it.
I also like it for rape. Any rape.
Only thing is - make good sure that the accused is actually the perp.
Just like murder - they should be hanged for it, but it’s nice to be real sure.
DNA really does help these days with that kind of thing.
Throw them in prison or execute them.

I basically agree, but we cannot worry too much, or we become like liberals. Always worried about the 1 person who was innocent while the 99 get to run free and continue their crimes. Because even 5 years of jail is too “mean”.
1st offense.
2nd offense, death.
Sure would be nice.
Why let them out of prison after the first offense, why would anyone think it takes two to get the real punishment is beyond me
I advocate the latter. Prison is quite the drain on national resources.
And yes, castration (presuming not fully emasculated) is no barrier to what an evil mind can conceive to do.

Look it up. We should run OUR prisons like the Black Dolphin.
If we did that, I would be willing to start opposing the death penalty.
I’m not a Putin fan, but imagine if we had a strong leader.
Because mutilation is a major punishment.
It will put the kibosh on 95% of those you worry about. In fact, cutting testicles makes one a “eunuch” and their testosterone production is greatly curtailed. Probably won’t have interest in sex stuff then anyway.
Castration means “cut off”, not snipped. There will be next to no testosterone production. End of issues.
Obama can use his pen and phone and we can have the same thing here!

That is true. Fair trial and hang at dawn.
You bring up a valid point. It could be a child’s word against the adult. But in many cases DNA evidence is irrefutable such as finding semen on the child’s body.
In addition to castration, I would order a large tattoo on the convicted offenders forehead. That will protect other children in future.
