Had to replenish my supplies of Diet Coke and went to drug store.

Now you're talking. Between Kroger, Walgreen and CVS, I can usually find 12-packs at 4/$12 and occasionally 4/$10.

Said son-in-law runs the gun counter at a pawn shop. Believe me, I can get a good deal on one. LOL

Nope.

Despise it, too.

I like wander around art supply stores like Hobby Lobby but that’s about it.

Everything else grates on my nerves, *especially* looking for clothes for some special occasion.

Even for groceries, I “speed shop”.

No No. It has been determined here on FR many times there are at least 17 women in the world who hate to shop. 15 of them post here on FR. I’m president of the organization.

I’m a guy and enjoy buying some things. Electronics, cars. I like having decent clothes but as far as going to stores and trying stuff on? Gaah, just shoot me. I’d rather buy it online and do. Recreational shopping I just don’t get, it doesn’t amuse me at all. Women, or some at least, find it “relaxing,” which just does not compute, lol. If I’ve got to do it, I find the store or stores that have what I want online, then go get it with a bias to convenience as far as parking and traffic, search and destroy. Then it’s over. No desire to prolong the agony.

Another here who hates shopping. All shopping, grocery, clothing, gadgets. I do like to browse some resale shops, art galleries...and toy stores for the grand kids if I’m in the mood.

It’s gotten so bad this year that fights are breaking out in the checkout pages at Amazon!

LMAO!

LOL! Looks like football players digging for the fumble as the refs are trying to pull each player off the pile...

Man, shopping is bad enough without subjecting yourself to semi-pros with no qualms about casual violence. There was a time when I was able to make lemonade out of going shopping by making games out of people-watching ("Spot the Loon," "Fashion Atrocity," "Stereotype Review" "Gay or Nay?"), but now I don't find much of it amusing.

Personally, I hate shopping for most things (it must be the "Y" chromosome thing mentioned), but I do like looking around new - to me - gun shops, and brick-and-mortar book stores. Niteowl77 has learned that it is often more fun to go shopping without me than to take me along, so I get fewer requests to go along than in the old days. This suits me fine.

I did Sam’s Club this AM. Arrived at the opening bell with 100 or so ahead of me. 3 min. to get inside and another 10 to find my purchase and get out via self check.

Smooth with no problems.

"I go to what I want, buy it and leave."

We call that "man shopping".

Agreed. That’s why my better half is getting a Ruger 22/45 to add to the collection. I would definitely categorize that under “durable tool”.

In fact, I can think of nothing worse when a female friend wants to “go shopping together”.

Walking through the mall, looking at things I’m really not interested in. If I see something I like, I do not want or need her approval.

Add another to your hates shopping count. I hate any kind of shopping even grocery shopping. I do hit the Nordstrom’s Rack occasionally but can walk in and go through their sales racks and be out in about 15 minutes.

I call it wandering aimlessly through stores. I would rather wander through the park or the woods.

True.

Except wandering in the park or woods means trouble in the city. :o)

Not where I live. My stepson is here from Baton Rouge. I took him to the local "ghetto" and we didn't see a single live black person. He was stunned.

No "black Friday" either, thank the Lord.
