Hi all - Hope I'm posting this in the right place, but could I ask for some Freeper prayers? I'm scheduled to have a colon resection tomorrow due to diverticulitis. Never had surgery before -- and allergic to a lot of things -- so I'm scared out of my wits. Would very much appreciate some good Freeper prayers.

Prayers for an easy surgery and a quick recovery. Back in the summer of 2010 I had to have an emergency temporary colostomy due to diverticulitis. It was my first major surgery. I had the reversal surgery three months later, so I know a bit of what you’re going through. Take it easy once you get home. Try not to do any heavy lifting. Be careful when you cough or sneeze too. And don’t get frustrated if you think it’s taking too long to feel like your old self. Everybody heals differently.
