Best wishes and prayers for a fast recovery!
Prayers up.
Having just gone through a health scare myself, I understand the anxiety you're going through. However, I leaned heavily on Our Lord and know he heard my prayers.
May God guide the hands of your surgeon and bless you with a quick recovery!

Prayers up! For you and everyone involved.
Prayers Up! I had this same surgery about five years ago. I had gone in one morning for a colonoscopy and they could not complete it because I had a sever case of diverticulitis the doctor thought it was cancerous. I was admitted into the hospital at that point and told I would have surgery the next morning. I had never had any kind of surgery before. Never been admitted into a hospital before. They told me they could not find any cancer, it was just a sever case of diverticulitis. I was in the hospital a total of seven days and it took about three months to recoup at home before I could walk any distance without pain.
I wish you good surgeons, good doctors and an easy recovery!
You’ve definitely come to the right place for prayers, alphadoggie. It’s what we do.
I’m praying that you come through your surgery with flying colors, healthy and healed. May God send his angels of healing to surround you and your surgical team, guiding their minds, hearts and hands during and after the procedure.
There’s a lot of great advice on this thread from those who’ve been through this procedure. Looks like Thanksgiving will be unusual for you, to say the least, but hoping next year you’ll be back to normal, with perhaps a somewhat modified diet plan to keep you healthy.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing about your good results
prayers for you, FRiend.
Prayers up and continuing.
Thanks everyone for the prayers and the advice. I’ve just about had it with the colon prep (and everyone who has ever had a colonoscopy knows what I mean).
Prayers up FRiend, for peace of mind, and a quick recovery.
May God bless.
Philippians 4:6-7 New Century Version (NCV)
6 Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. 7 And Gods peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
