WASHINGTON (AP) — Shocked and offended by explicit questions, some U.S. servicemen and women are complaining about a new sexual-assault survey that hundreds of thousands have been asked to complete.

The survey is conducted every two years. But this year's version, developed by the Rand Corp., is unusually detailed, including graphically personal questions on sexual acts.

Some military members told The Associated Press that they were surprised and upset by the questions, and some even said they felt re-victimized by the blunt language. None of them would speak publicly by name, but Pentagon officials confirmed they had received complaints that the questions were "intrusive" and "invasive."

Two observations here. First, if the data comes back and says thirty percent of the males and forty percent of the females have been penetrated without permission, then what? It seems like you are opening up a big door and you might be put into a position with consequences.

Second, I worked twenty-two years in the AF. Up through the 1980s, we took surveys serious. In the early 90’s...I’d say that half the NCOs clobbered surveys with bogus info and just didn’t take them serious. You might have an entire unit get thirty of their surveys back and note recent unwanted penetration, and the commander will get all frustrated that a bunch of folks are penetrating folks without permission. Then when he gathers everyone into some big room to get to the bottom....they admit these were alien probes, during off-duty hours.

They started to get really ridiculous under clinton.
And then it became joke fodder with “don’t ask, don’t tell”.
Everything became an opening for, “ is that something to do with don’t ask don’t tell?”
One of the few ways we could get back at that policy being shoved on us.

Kids in public school sex education courses get asked explicit questions and have to perform embarrassing exercises like the girl placing a condom on a banana being held by a boy.

Kids don't know how to complain. But when parents do they are treated like they are idiots and just not with it.

The Obama regime has manufactured this entire "sexual assault" scandal in order to weaken the military and the institution itself. I am not saying sexual assault does not occur in the military, but it was never the problem Obama, Hagel, Sen Gillibrand, and the Democrats made it out to be in the media, which has provided saturated and false coverage.

False reports outpace sex assaults in the military

From 2009 to 2012, the number of sexual abuse reports rose from 3,244 to 3,374 — a 4 percent increase. During the same period, the number of what the Pentagon calls “unfounded allegations” based on completed investigations of those reports rose from 331 to 444 — a 35 percent increase. In 2012, there were 2,661 completed investigations, meaning that the 444 false complaints accounted for about 17 percent of all closed cases last year. False reports accounted for about 13 percent of closed cases in 2009.

False reporting has skyrocketed. And guess what? False reports are no longer prosecuted by the DoD.

There has not been one DoD prosecution of someone who filed a false report of sexual assault in the past year.

The military has been abused and used by Obama and the Democrats to foster their cynical and evil "war on women" political strategy.

There were some high profile cases of sexual assault by military basic trainers, but those were vigorously prosecuted. Obama and Hagel then launched a huge media campaign, saying that "studies" indicated that most assaults were "not reported." How do you dis-prove a negative? You cannot. So all of the military was declared "guilty" - specifically all men. It didn't matter if you were a heroic father and husband - you were "guilty."

While the Pentagon was laying off DoD doctors, nurses, and teachers saying they didn't "have the money" to pay their salaries because of Sequestration, the DoD was spending Millions on hiring new Sexual Assault Prevention Response trainers, who traveled around the world giving our military propaganda lectures. Oh, and those same SAPR preachers were EXEMPT from any furloughs because Hagel gave them a special exemption. Nice, huh?

Chuck Hagel to exempt DOD sex assault prevention workers from furloughs

And now we have this:

Here is a sample question, one of a series of 11 graphic questions out of 34. Some are even more detailed: "Before 9/18/2013, had anyone made you insert an object or body part into someone's mouth, vagina or anus when you did not want to and did not consent?"

This is disgusting. What a horrible way to treat our military heroes.

Moreover, same sex (read: homosexual pervert) assaults are WAY WAY up - in REAL reported numbers.

Victims of sex assaults in military are mostly men

The media, Democrats, Hagel, and Obama bury those fact.

Now we see colleges and universities under the same assault of propaganda as was the military.

You don’t have to take the survey if you don’t want to. However, if you don’t take it, you find that you keep getting emails and letters in the mail until you do, or until the survey is closed.

I took this survey a few months ago. I’ve never seen anything mentioned in the survey actually happen.

None of this mattered to NOW when the Commander in Chief was repeatedly accused of sexual harassment, rape, intimidation, etc.

Do they really think they're going to get honest answers to this???

"We think we've done a very good job of trying to make people aware of what sexual assault is."

I'm sure you do. But actually what you've done is ad a few convolutions to an absurd pre-existing Gordian Knot.

Western Civilization has gotten itself paralyzed by one big Gordian Knot--a bunch of confluent and entangled Gordian Knots. Sooner or later an Alexander is going to come along and whack through it. The chances that the decadents who brought all this about will like him are somewhere between zilch and zero.

This might be what the decadents are longing for, notably those of Europe.

Their civilization has become so weighted down with complications and heavy decadence that they subconsciously long from deliverance from it all.

This is what Islam offers them, and this is why they are so sympathetic to Islam and Muslims.

Islam offers them absolutes, as they are lost in uncertainty.

The Jihadis are not concerned about unravelling the complications of Western niceties; they're going to whack through the whole mess and anybody who stands in their way.

Maybe this is what confused decadents--viz. The Left--secretly long for.

When I went to my officer basic course in 1991, one of the first things we did was complete a 'wellness survey,' which included questions about the frequency of alcohol consumption. Keep in mind, this was administered to a bunch of newly minted second lieutenants who had, for the most part, just graduated from four years of college at institutions around the country. About 80% of the class was referred for further screening. The other 20% lied.

Never took an Army survey seriously after that.

"I am not saying sexual assault does not occur in the military"

When I was in the Army, it wasn't a problem. There were few women--mostly nurses or doctors. There were homosexuals and probably transsexuals, but they kept it to themselves, and it wasn't a problem. If any assault occurred--and, if so, I never heard about it--it was handled on a personal level.

The mission of the military is to protect the nation and its citizens. This mission should be implemented by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and its purpose kept clear.

The changes in the military and all the "problems" that have resulted are part of the decadence of Western Civilization.

If 30 to 40 percent of military personnel are penetrated without their permission, we've got a much bigger problem than they think.

These are people who are charged with protecting the nation and its citizens, and they can't even protect themselves from unwanted penetration???

It's time to fire them all and replace them with men who can!

This is the viewpoint of us who are ascendant.

The decadents (Leftists, so-called "Liberals" or "Progressives"--whatever...) will try some hare-brained scheme like making all servicepersons wear chastity belts.

They could also hit someone who threatens them with a powder puff...or their purse...or maybe tell them to go to sensitivity training...or SOMEthing...for goodness sakes...!

The good news is that decadence carries within itself the seeds of its own destruction.

The bad news is that it takes time.

It takes time, and it’s necessary to go through the painful process of watching stupid people discover for themselves what the intelligent and honest knew all along.

Right you are. There is something really nasty about our government sanctioning vice. It is as if the gutter has become the center of all our moral reflection. And by saying that I do apologize to all gutters out there, because they are cleaner than souls who are thinking up and implementing it all.
