It is now a best of three. Play ball!
Checking in....GO ROYALS!!!
I used to play catch with my dad. He had an Earl Torgeson model first basemen’s glove, which, I think, I lost. At the time it meant nothing. Now, it means everything. I wish I had that glove. Play ball, America, and hug your kids.
Going back to Kauffman Stadium!
No more Gay Bay after tonight!
Get our slingshots ready for the Giants
Yep, since they split the first four games, it comes down to a 2 out of 3 series.
Yup, go back to that dull, drab, cookie cutter of a stadium...with the Giants 3-2...
Why in the world would anyone play baseball when perfectly good NFL is being played?
(N.B. Mad Magazine once in jest suggested this may happen...)
I can’t wait to get back to Kauffman.
If the Giants do win the Series, I can only imagine the “Parade”......ugh!!!
Sad news, Cards Oscar Taveras dead:

Just like 2002....with the same result...
We was robbed I tell ya, we was robbed! Currently 1-0 Giants
Denying melon head a WS ring was almost as delicious as winning it all....
Wow! This is the first I heard of it. Just double-checked on mlb.com, and the story is true. This will be big news here in St. Louis.
Life is so fragile. May he play on The Lord’s team, now . . .
Great to be an American and good to live in the land of the Royals. The boys in blue got spanked pretty bad last night but the upside is the last two games will be in KC.
I remember when I was a kid, about nine years old, the Cubs had a slick-fielding young second baseman named Kenny Hubbs. He was one of my favorite players. Then early in his career, he was killed in a small plane crash. I was very sad.
Sounds like we are from a similar era, I was six, when Hubbs died. Leaves a difficult vacancy on your team, that’s for sure. I grew up, cheering for the Mets (still do), but I remember how hard it hit all of my pals, when Thurman Munson died, in similar circumstances.
Reading some of the comments on some of the sports sites reminds me how much fans of other teams can be such d-bags. Most are not but the few just have to be trolls.
