Great timing.
Walking Dead starts tomorrow too.
Man why did they remake this!?
12 Monkeys is one of my favorite movies.
Magnificent performances. Madeleine Stowe was still a beautiful woman in this (before she let some quack make her look like every other left coast woman...)
Bruce Willis and brad Pitt were amazing.
I am really tired of remakes that offer nothing and have no reason to exist.
This won’t be a remake BTW, this will be a series so it won’t a knockoff.
Just watched the original movie 2 days ago for the first time. I did enjoy it.
I just wonder how syfy will fir sharks into the plot.
Pitt really showed he had some acting chops in that movie....
He definitely moved up my list from Hollywood pretty boy to actor after watching his performance in that film...
fir = fit
I agree. What are they going to do, remake Brad Pitt in the mental ward? How are they going to do that?
Ping
"You truly are insane."
Pitt is a surprisingly talented actor. Have to give credit where credit is due.
Something I’m looking forward too on SyFy is “Ascension”. Its not getting much buzz but it looks like a potentially very interesting scfi series.
Hmmm.
That is something I did not know. I’m very glad to hear that, because some things should not be remade, because they were perfect to start.
I might have to check it out then.
Why is there a thread about a trailer from a movie made in the mid-90’s??
Man why did they remake this!?
My first thought as well.
Fight Club is good as well.
Z Nation is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series created by Karl Schaefer and Craig Engler, which airs on Syfy. The first season, which will consist of 13 episodes, premiered on September 12, 2014.
Pitt’s bravura performance was what makes 12 Monkeys an above average movie, IMO
Nope. His character is not in the SyFy adaption.
