Chris Vognar of the Dallas Morning News Arts Blog shared a story, Monday, that unintentionally reflected very poorly on his subject - a former waitress and what she did with two incredibly generous tips from Rush Limbaugh.
Tierce used to get some high rollers at the restaurant, including conservative talk show mogul Rush Limbaugh. Tierce waited on Limbaugh twice (both times he came in with Al Michaels, who was in town to call Cowboys games). Both times Limbaugh left her $2,000 tips on modest-size checks, once with twenty $100 bills.
Prepare yourselves for one of the most ironic and unself-aware sentences of all time:
That was like blood money to me, says Tierce, who does not share Limbaughs social views.
Vognar explains that as the executive director of the TEA Fund, which provides money to women who cant afford to get abortions, "she did the only logical thing with Limbaughs cash. She donated a sizable chunk of it to the TEA Fund."
Duly noted: Ungratefully spitting on the generosity of a conservative - is "the only logical thing" to do according to a progressive's way of thinking.
It felt like laundering the money in a good way, she says. Hes such an obvious target for any feminist or sane person. It was really bizarre to me that he gave me $2,000, and hes evil incarnate in some ways.
She refuses to accept the possibility that a person she disagrees with on abortion might just have a generous heart - it's "really bizarre" to her.
Do these people have any clue at all of how monstrous they look?

Yeah, we can see their soul and it ain’t all that pretty...
Ugly is as ugly does.
Oh well, we all know that to libs, only abortions matter.
and if he had left her $0.20, she’d have posted that for her fame whoreing, too and said it wasn’t enough.
It’s pretty easy for an unethical person to CLAIM to give away $2000. Let’s see the proof.
Unimaginable crust! I once got a good tip from Tom Wolfe when working in a restaurant as a kid. I happily pocketed it and have only had good thoughts about Mr. Wolfe ever since. Only a pig would write this stuff.
I posted this in “General/chat section and didn’t see this article posted previously.
I would think that a person who worked in the kind of restaurant Rush would frequent would make a very good living. Strange she would jeopardize that by going public with what she did.
It says she donated a “sizeable chunk”; so she did keep some of the “blood money” and she’s not saying how much.
They look monstrous because they are monsters. This is not a misunderstanding or "poor optics" in media parlance, this is a what this person is. She hates Limbaugh becuase he is the antithesis to her leftist, child murdering ideology.
In reality, she kept the money for herself.
Then she goes around trumpeting how she gave the money to leftist causes to gain the respect and admiration of other phonies.
In a fair world, the IRS would go after her for unpaid taxes on the tips she probably didn’t claim as income.
Why is someone trying to make a mountain out of this perfectly level area?
Once he gave her the money it was hers to do with as she pleased.
You are correct. But this is an example of how NOT classy liberals are.
She said a sizable chunk but don’t say how much or why she just didn’t either give it all to kill babies or just refuse the tip on personal grounds.
Sounds like she either kept it all or it didn’t happen. There seems to be a push to bash Rush these days.
Never happened.
The surprise is that she didn’t add special sauce to the gravy.
Nick & Sam’s is the steakhouse.
Rush would go with Al Michaels when he was in Dallas calling games for Cowboys.
Sounds pretty thin to me. Some lefty wanting to piss on the man.
