Fort Collins Could Break the Record For the Earliest Snowfall Ever Tonight ( Colorado )

Fort Collins is on track to break its record for the earliest snowfall ever... the earliest measurable snowfall in Fort Collins since 1889 was recorded on Sept. 12 — that happened twice, once in 1974 and again in 1989.

In 1971 I was stationed at Lowry AFB, CO and it snowed on September 8th.

It is pretty cold today - mid 40s right now. Was drizzling when I drove into work this morning.

It frosted on the 4th of July 1985 in Frankfurt Germany.I was there on vacation at the time,couldn’t hardly believe it.

When I was living in Calgary the last day of the Calgary Stampede got snowed out one year.

The Stampede is held in JULY.
