NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) A T-shirt showdown has left two of the citys most powerful unions at war with teachers pitted against the NYPD.
As CBS 2 Political Reporter Marcia Kramer reported, many teachers across the city wore pro-police t-shirts after their union president, Michael Mulgrew, attended the Rev. Al Sharptons march protesting the death of Eric Garner, a 43-year-old father of six who died while in police custody on July 17.

pro pedophilia shirts are a-ok
Gee, I hope they never have to call the police in to take care of a problem in the school.
Being NYC, I would imagine that the schools have their own separate police, with their own separate union, their own separate pension fund, etc.
When did teachers start wearing t-shirts to school?
It goes without saying that no Christian, Jewish or pro-life clothing is allowed, right?
Everytime I see REV Al Sharpton or the REV Jesse Jackson in a news story it makes me want to puke.
They have sold out God, Jesus and their own people for a buck.
Put down the cross, pick up the loot, and send it to me.
What if they want to wear the Pro NYPD shirt in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001?
If I had the money, I’d send them all copies of Vladimir Nabokovs “Lolita” and tee-shirts featuring the various movie adaptations.
Free speech vanishes again
Since when is the NYPD conservative or pro-religion. They are a government organization. Some people really are trying to tempt me into wanting to say words unfit for this forum. Do people want anarchy?
They r going to work. They should be dressing up not wearingr tshirt
I hate to say it...but it appears that when it comes to a showdown between cops and minorities, some Freepers reflexively side with government authority. Even when they’re “right,” they’re right for the wrong reasons.
Good point
Even when theyre right, theyre right for the wrong reasons.

No Can Do. Would be offensive to the uslimes in general, and the terrorists in particular.
