Americans have been getting stupider and more sheep like for a few decades. (thanks public schools!) They have been taught by TV, video games and movies to believe fantasies and illusions are real. This is what got Jug Ears elected. Jug Ears reflects the present mentality of the American people.
Americans like to elect irresponsible, power mad, unapologetic creatures same as has been done in 3rd world countries for years and years. Because we are becoming like a 3rd world country. Hillary is more proof of this since she is leading the polls to be our next president. She has a high profile image and no real accomplishments, same as Hussein Obama in 2008/ Millions of otherwise sensible women will vote for her just because she is female
The Republican party was a huge part of the problem in 2008. Instead of running a dynamic candidate, they picked another one we had to hold our noses and gag when we voted. McCain was mushy and pathetic at debating Obama or raising the true issues America needed to deal with. Plus, when Obama picked Biden that choice alone should have him on the losing end of the race with Joe’s gaffs!
Possibly had we had Romney/Ryan in 2008 we might have changed the tide as Obama was really no match for a businessman/governor. And, Ryan was much more sane than Biden in every way....but sad his OWN state didn’t support him!
Santa Claus might as well run ‘R’ in the next campaign and maybe will not win. Anyway, VDH, another great column.
