Well it wasn’t simultaneous, but that’s a discussion for another day.
Bantys have the little bitty eggs. I just want a nice quiet couple of hens. Penelope, my black Australorp, is the Mouth of the South. If I could tone down her Ba-BOCK!, I would.
My bantams lay eggs smaller than the reds, but they’re not super small. In most cases, the yolk is about the same size, but there is less white.
The eggs from the reds and from my leghorns are like super jumbo.
And it begins again. A cancer center called for my husband with an appointment. A urologist and a radiologist for consultations. I knew he had a test this morning. I pray it’s still early and it can be rid of.
Imagine if you could sell your eggs out of the grand wailea in maui where they charge $2.50 per hardboiled egg and they weren’t super jumbo!
Is he prepared to be proactive this time? You’d said he seemed to be “getting it”.

All his cocky smugness is gone. I mentioned it in the car this week, when he couldn’t walk away and his face clouded over and he managed to tell me nothing...which told me a lot.
