U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry paid a visit Wednesday to the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific, where he met the tiny nation’s leaders and commemorated the ferocious World War II battles fought on Guadalcanal.

Lurch is just like a TV game show host, isn’t he? He’s got to break for commercial: Climate change!—every few minutes.
Writer Michael Crichton wrote about it years ago too, name of the book escapes me. The name changes from global warming to climate change, and it will be something even more dire sounding next year, but the island still won’t be any smaller.
And in a few years the next Democrat will ask, “Fiery death?” and the islanders will again reply, “Huh?”
