Do the Colleges have anything to gain over Legalizing of lawbreaking aliens?
Answer: Yes they do.
Why is this? Well the answer is quite simple, if you take away the conventional entry level jobs away from the Youth in High School and College you make the supposed "need for college" almost mandatory.
In the conventional sense a young adult growing up would have at least a summer job even in high school. Now some people would think this job would be useless in havin a career as a lawyer or doctor later on in life, however they would be wrong. Having a job during your formative years of high schoold and college lays down the foundation of working for someone else who is not your family. It lays down the basic levels of work ethic, ie, clocking in on time, respecting your boss, learning to respectfully deal with customers, dealing with basic finance, proper sanitation, and a load of many other subtle skills that someone just growing up and going to school doesn't get exposure to.
Once you have those skills down pat there is not much of a need to attend college for the average citizen unless they want to have a career that is highly specialized, like doctor and laywer for instance.
However, what happens when you take away those opportunities for the young people to work in the work place during their formative years? You make the "need" for college that much more greater and you can more easily sell the party line that "In order to have a career you MUST got to college and not bother with having a McJob". Of course the more people who end up going to college in order to even get an "entry level career", the more saturated this emntality will become.
So where do illegals fit in? Simple put they fill in the entry level jobs as not a stepping stone but as a Career. This fills up the space taken by seasonal citizen students and makes it harder for them to get a summer job or an after school job. These McJobs should never be a career, but as a transitional step for all of our youth, instead the illegal influx is basically turning them into a "lower caste career" for the illegals, forcing out our yung citizens who NEED the jobs in order to build a foundation for their growth in the private sector.
This feeds itself and soon there becomes a "college guild" you will have to be memeber of in order to get a career. Of course people hiring young people fresh out of college are hesitant to hire someone who has NO previous working experience. Because even if you go to college and this allows you sidestep the first few rungs onthe ladder, the employer still has to teach you the basics, basics that you shoudl have already known years ago.
So that puts yet another strain on the job market. Instead of hiring 10 people from college who have job experience, they will only hire 5 people from college because they have to invest more in basic training they should have known. Businesess have to basically re-train college hires who have no practical work experience, which in turn hurts the job market.
How does this benefit colleges? Well with a glut of illgal cheap labour eating up all the low end jobs, the "need" for college becomes greater and thus the collges get more funding, more customers, and more "legitmacy". The snake eats itself and everyone else eats the cost of this....

College/university (aka Big Education) is a primary funding medium for Democrats. Because of that, it has a protected position in the media view.

Interesting theory.
However the other side of making college almost mandatory there will be a huge influx of illegals on scholarships to go study “Hispanic Studies” courses and keep the cash flowing in.
