The [San Francisco] Giants are contemplating a new kind of dress code at AT&T Park, one that could keep certain types of politically incorrect gear out of the stadium.
The proposal stems from a brouhaha that arose after a fan, who appeared to be Caucasian, donned a headdress at Native American Heritage Night. The fan was approached by two Native Americans who asked for the headdress and then refused to give it back, according to a report from USA Today.

But the pot fumes can stay, really...
Which is theft, isn't it??
This is the type of PC nonsense mandated by the obama/holder crime syndicate, all the while allowing, if not encouraging, the rampaging urban yutes to engage in the knock out game.
culturally appropriate behavior - They were fine with the THEFT, as long as its a minority doing the stealing.
Conservatives that willfully funding leftists should sit quietly and enjoy what their money buys.
Native Americans should be banned from wearing our sacred t-shirts and jeans and be required to come in loin cloths.
So no drag queens, no hippies, no dreadlocks, no Muzzie outfits, and no women with butch haircuts? Fantastic!!!
Gigantism itself is a freak-show kind of condition. I don’t think it’s very sensitive to throw around a word that is horribly offensive to people who have that overactive pituitary syndrome that makes people giants.
“Giant” is just not a very nice word. They need to change the name of the team. And the football Giants should follow suit (by that I mean, lawsuit)
I love it. I am taking that and running with it! Hahahaha! Redskin fans should throw that right back in the faces of the New York Giants fans!
"Kemosabe, firewater cost much wampum at game. Bring more next time. Whiteman at firewater trading post no trade blankets and squaws."
Not theft, robbery. Did the guy get his property back?
I haven’t heard, it didn’t sound like it from the article.
A great nation that practiced diversity & tolerance...
The phrase that will be written on our tombstone... RIP USA
You are forgetting that this was in San Francisco, where such attire is part of the local culture. ;-)
A number of nicknames should be abolished for being offensive. Yankees...oppressors of the South. Red Sox...obviously commies. White Sox...racists. Dodgers...trolley car far avoiders i.e. thieves, Brewers...drunks. Lot’s more important p.c work to do.
Very strange recent trend.
Imitation has always been considered “the sincerest form of flattery.”
Somehow it has very recently morphed into “cultural misappropriation and theft.”
I find the name “Giants” to be culturally appropriate. It’s offensive to me that they would single out those that are born taller than the norm to make their name. Something should be done and it needs to be done now. This height insensitively and singling out of genetic traits for a namesake needs to stop!
Darn! You beat me to this observation and you did it better too. That offends me. You have no right to be quicker and better at writing than I am! It’s not fair and should be banned.
"Well, I'm glad to see SOMEBODY understands 'Culturally Appropriate Attire'. Let me see your papers.
A protected class in San Freaksicko.
The way not to abide to this is not to show up at Giants games. Just stay home and save your hard earned, easily taken,(from the likes of obama) cash. You need it more than they do.
I knew this couldn’t be about the NY Giants. Everybody in the stadium wears a blue coat.
How about they ban their own uniforms for “Hispanic Heritage Night” that say “Gigantes” instead of “Giants”? I’m offended by people that apparently learn even one damn word of English.
*can’t* learn even one damn word of English.
Did everyone see the “white poncho night” pictures from the white sox game?
I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time.
(Looked like an inadvertent KKK rally)
Cultural thuggery from the Left.
It’s becoming a national pastime to rival baseball.
My grandfather was very tall. He defended this country in WWII. He was a good man and I find it offensive that a team would disrespect and mock people like that by naming their team with the G word.
Which leads me to call for an all-out assault on Wabash College (IN), as they have the effrontery to be named the Little Giants, thus offending tall people AND short people. I think I’m gonna cry.
