Yes, it is actually cheese.

They had to change what they called it because the FDA threw a hissy over their having milk protein concentrate in their product.

No preservatives? But I thought Velveeta WAS preservatives!

I recall teasing my friend incessantly as she shopped in a grocery store because she put a white box with black letters on it that said “PROCESSED LOAF.” I kept asking her what food group it belonged to and how did she know etc...because it was the generic for Velveeta. PROCESSED LOAF. It’s apparently all you need to know to make an informed decision!

“Velveeta” and “Cheese” should not even be used in the same sentence...ditto with “Wiz”.
