You spray for elves before starting any major construction project, so what’s the problem?

The Irish (until recently, I fear) have the same reluctance to disturb "fairy forts" and "fairy rings" and other assorted landmarks with "supernatural" connections. This folklore has fortunately preserved an astounding wealth of ancient and prehistoric artifacts.
Sadly, flooded with euros from Brussels, the Irish raced headlong to prove how far they've come from their superstitious past (only a few decades ago really) and are busy knocking over iron age and bronze age ruins with abandon.
Up Ireland, I mean, Go Ireland!

Can you point me to articles backing your claims. I just visited my family farm that has been in the family for more than 200 years... The ring forts are well preserved and respected for their history. Please point me to your claims.
Thanks .

Did they enter Iceland legally? How can they be tax-farmed to support welfare programs?

Have a look
here,
here and
here. The last one might be good for a chuckle. It's a shame. Maybe Ireland is too chock full of ancient sites that there's no way to avoid them.
