In an email this evening, a veteran publishing source calls the latest Hillary Clinton book...a "bomb."
"They sold 60,000 hard covers first week and 24,000 ebooks." The publishing house was "hoping and praying for 150,000 print first week."
"The 60k represents a less than 10% sell thru based on what they shipped,"

If the book is such a bomb -- load up an aircraft full of them, send it to Iran and have McCain toss 'em out.
I don't know if that would make Hillary or many Iranians happy, but if McCain didn't get shot down he may enjoy it, and just the thought of him "bombing" Iran with Hillary's crappy book puts a smile on my face, anyway...

Well, I think there are plenty of outhouses around the U.S.A. that could use a source of paper for cleaning up after going No. 2. Ship them there and let them be put to a real use.
All I know is that compared to a Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck book, Hillary is overpriced.

I suspect there are lots of people who want to be members of a cult. They’re political addicts who want to be abused. I have often thought Democrats resemble abused wives. If their husband dies they find another abuser just like him.
Waters World was on Fox last night and he was interviewing the people standing in line to buy her book. OMG!!!! First the people in N.Y. city are brain died on there best day. Second to be that uber left without being able to even give a good reason for your position is mind blowing. These are the folks of the first die off when the SHTF comes.

One of the things former Speaker of the House Jim Wright got caught doing. One of the unions bought 5,000 copies of his autobiography.
Given McCain's history as a pilot it's more likely he would simply crash the plane.
I really hope the publisher had the stones to make it a contingent-on-sales deal. IOW, she has to pay most of it back.

The books/speeches are always written by professional ghostwriters. The public servant receiving the kickback doesn't actually do anything but show up. Fedzilla must be paid their cut.
I don’t want her as the nominee. I know too many people who have already voted for her in their mind.
And this is Texas!
Most of those were probably bought by PACs to be give-aways with donations. E.g., "Donate $75 and we'll send you Hillary's new book. Donate $200 and we won't!"
The more I watch her on her book tour the more I am coming to believe that the Dems are looking for some excuse, any excuse, to get rid of her. My guess will be something health related.
