I had not thought of that. Very right and very horrifying. Wasn’t there a criminal case where a woman’s neighbors murdered her using their dog (the same breed) as the weapon?
I have not read the full article but I think it likely the women are a couple.

Reading the article, it would appear that the victim was a little slow in reacting to the problem. This event is certainly quite tragic, and is one of many good reasons why you should build walls around your property, especially if you suspect or know of liberals living near you. These women may have deliberately let their dog be rabid or have been deliberately negligent (given the guilty plea, I am inclined to believe negligence), but their mentality is certainly characteristic of liberals.
The hardcore liberals believe that this man’s death is the appropriate outcome. They believe that animals should never be harmed unless it furthers the liberal agenda, and believe that this man should not even have the right to defend himself. Misanthropists and psychopaths have convenient excuses for their actions, thanks to liberal doctrine.
Was the dog, by any chance, a returning veteran?
Cue convenient liberal appeal towards “rehabilitation”.
According to an article in the Telegraph the dog had no food, no water, and no shade. I think the heat and dehydration were more likely contributing factors in the aggression rather than hunger.

Reasonable people would agree with you, but we unfortunately do not have reasonable people in our court systems and our government. At the very least, walls and firearms promote good behavior from people who would otherwise be delinquent.

But seriously, what are the lives of a few geezers, babies, postmen, pizza guys, and stupid pedestrians compared with the hours of pleasure these fine dogs give their owners?
The Kenny Bunk Solution? When the owners are incarcerated (a frequent occurence) the dogs should be allowed to share their cells. The dogs should not be fed. After 30 days, deputies might want to take a look and see who or what survived.

Two lawyers whose huge dog mauled a neighbor to death as she was trying to enter her San Francisco apartment were convicted today on all five charges, including a count of murder against one of them.
Marjorie Knoller, 46, who was with the 120-pound Presa Canario dog when it attacked Diane Whipple, 33, on Jan. 26, 2001, was convicted of second-degree murder, the most serious charge. She faces 15 years to life in prison.
