It was OK back then. Not Beverly hills but not that bad. But when the libs wrecked the logging industry, that really slaughtered it. Then they closed Big Tupper over snow making and that was another hit. then the OWD and Verneer plant closed and that was all she wrote.

I just watched a couple vids as I said and the old Ginsburg building looks ready to collapse. It’s really sad what happened to it...the town in general. But with the jobs all but eliminated, no one has the cash to fix squat and the Adirondack Park Agency is worse than the BLM with their regulations. So no one has a reason to invest there.

Same here. I have no intention to ever step foot in that state again. It was great to grow up in. But that’s it. No fun to be an adult there. Or a kid really since they closed do much of the land.
