Shrewd reporting about the Ukraine crisis comes from The Onion, which declared that American reaction is evenly divided between the wholly indifferent and the grossly misinformed.
In the latter category, it seems, belong the chest-thumpers who blame the Crimea catastrophe on President Obama.
We have a weak and indecisive president that invites aggression, scolded Senator Lindsey Graham (revealing his own weakness: grammar). President Obama needs to do something!
Likewise, Senator John McCain complains that Obamas foreign policy is feckless, so that nobody believes in Americas strength anymore.
Representative Mike Rogers, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, worries that Russia is running circles around us. The Washington Post warns in a stinging editorial that President Obamas foreign policy is based on fantasy. The Wall Street Journal cautions that the basic problem is Obamas retreat from global leadership.

It's incredible how these liberal pukes change their tune when the situation is reversed. They all blamed Ike, Bush I and still blaming Bush II...

The cause and effect are there for everyone to see. Weakness invites aggression.

Gee, the NYT makes up lies and praises Obama. What a surprise. But it is getting more and more interesting watching them have to strain and struggle to make up more ridiculous lies that will make Obama seem praiseworthy.

"I'm not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers. We are the president."

Clearly the Villain that is hurting & destroying American greatness is Barack Hussein Obama II !!
Putin couldn't dream of damaging America more than the Community Organizer has on the economy, military & rule-of-law!

I seldom agree with John McCain, but on this one I do. We need more Fecks We can not remain Feckless. It is the lack of fecks that has led to all these problems at home and abroad.(Feck = Affect, value, vigor, energy, amount, quality.)

How about the Times didn't get the punctuation correct:
We have a weak and indecisive president; that invites aggression."
I can't believe that I am supporting Lindsey. How embarrassing.

Is Kristof so misinformed that he doesn’t even know that ‘The Onion’ is a satire site?

Having taught grammar for quite a few years, I'm wondering where there's a grammar weakness . . . maybe "that" for "who"? Maybe the writer was "alerted" to a grammar "issue" (advised of a word substitution) by MS-Word or some other processor as he was spell checking his article.
