On January 14th I started a thread Vacation Clubs. It was about signing up/paying for one and then regretting it the next day. As I said on the 14th I followed refund procedures and returned their portfolio on the 13th.
And...........................
With that satisfaction I don't mind saying it was Resort One. Sure I see the various scams on the net but they were incredibly prompt with my refund. Nothing else to say.
Nigerian Vacations?
In Virginia you have a three day right of rescission and are owed 100%. (It took me three months to get mine...)
Good for you. I remember that thread...

.. in question.
Oregon, too. Can't recall how long it took to get my refund, but that was 2 decades ago...
Congratulations!
You did the right thing.
You can still count yourself lucky.
The point that everyone was making on the other thread was that even if they are not outright crooks, these “vacation rentals” are not a good deal at all, you end up paying a lot, and have limited options.
You can take vacations of your choice at locations and hotels of your choice for the money that would have eaten up.
