Do Less Guns Mean Less Murders In A Country? It's time to compare the USA to the UK but we need an impartial third party to make the call. Take a look:
Watch Now! Guns: The USA vs The UK
A common comparison is to Australia.
Not to nitpik... but... “fewer.”
Liberal DemocRats ENABLE crime by DISABLING the law abiding and then taxing them to appease the ‘special victim’ classes.... if you were to subtract black crime from the US crime statistics, we’d be the most law-abiding nation on the planet by quite a margin.
The video title actually gets it right “Do Fewer Guns In A Country Mean Fewer Homicides Will Happen?” so you have to go out of your way to get it wrong in the OP.
Beat me to it.
Pretty good video.
I’ve become quite addicted to audiobooks about this subject. So far, my 2 favorites are Glenn Beck’s “Control: Exposing the Truth About Guns,” and “That Every Man Be Armed,” by Stephen P. Halbrook.

Woo hoo!! And the first 28% is in!! Thank you all very much!! |
We continually get tangled up in what other countries are doing... Don’t care! The numbers you are stating are only for the law abiding gun owners and you are using legal gun ownership as the comparison for illegal gun ownership and use. The FBI reports on their website that there were 8,583 ( http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-8 ) gun related deaths in 2011 and it is an accepted statistic that over 70% are gang related, thus unpreventable, that leaves nearly 2600 “preventable” gun related deaths per year.
Treat the gangs as terrorist organizations and dump them all in prison and reduce gun related deaths by 70% and then focus on the “preventable” gun incidents.
We would not be the most law abiding, but if you also take out Hispanics, we fall into the middle of European homicide rates:
