Streep was a contender in her day.....but she should have graciously exited years ago....

..she's become an embarrassment.

Just another old washed up Hollywood hag joining the other hateful hags Cher Bono, Barbara Streisand, etc. berating the world to try to make themselves look better .... a real trick!

In 1964 Disney received an award from President Johnson. It was rumored for a long time that Disney wore a Goldwater button to the ceremony.

Recently Animation historian Michael Barrier was able to verify that indeed this was true.

Very well said, my Friend.

To the vast majority it is ALL about money and fame.

You’re right about most being rabid-ass sociopaths too, especially that because they live in a fantasy world! :-)

Thanks, I wasn’t aware of that but Goldwater was the first candidate I voted for in a presidential election.

I do remember some of the attempted defamation of Disney in the 50’s but as I remember there wasn’t much attention given to it.

A typical Holly-weird lib. Plays a character in a movie, and interacts on film with another actor portraying Walt Disney, and thinks she’s an expert on Disney’s behavior and personality.

Streep certainly didn’t seem to mind taking the Disney Company’s money for her portrayal of Cruella De Vil.

This isn’t the first time Streep raised a ruckus by talking through her anal orifice! If memory serves, she was one of the Hollywood whackos who went to Congress and pitched a fit over a pesticide, Alar, being sprayed on apples, a la, “What are we doing to our children?!”

IMHO, if she and many others actually gave a crap about children, they’d be pro-life and anti-abortion!

If Disney DID wear the Goldwater pin, wouldn’t THAT put the lie to the meme that he was anti-Semitic?

See this link for a description of Disny’s wearing the Goldwater button at the ceremony.

No surprise that a Hollyweird denizen would speak nonsense fiction based on nothing other than their own brainless ideas of what must have been

The only way they could make themselves look better is dousing themselves in gasoline and setting it ablaze..... They’ll have to pony up for the extra carbon credits though.

Streep is a typical classless liberal. If she care about the poor, she would donate her home to the poor.

It stems from his position when there was a strike at the Disney Studio in 1940 wherein he was aware of the communist component of it. And then from his willingness to testify to the HUAC in 1947 about communist influence in Hollywood.

BINGO!
