Don’t say Christmas.
That’s the message that was conveyed to a group of soldiers at Camp Shelby by an equal opportunity officer from the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, according to a soldier who attended a recent briefing.
“It’s unbelievable that the Army would ban ‘Christmas’ like it’s a bad word,” said Michael Berry, an attorney with the Liberty Institute, a legal firm representing the unidentified soldier.
Two weeks ago, a routine meeting was held at the Mississippi base with various leaders of the 158th Infantry Brigade. During the meeting, they discussed an upcoming Christmas football tournament. The equal opportunity officer immediately objected to the usage of the word “Christmas.”

I suppose most will just shrug this off and let it pass, but why do the patriots in this country allow this garbage to continue?

There isn’t one flippin’ place in the Constitution where it says that a soldier cannot say, Merry Christmas. It’s time to start putting these fags like this EO officer in jail for violating the First Amendment rights of another American. Put a few of these maggots in prison and this kind of crap will stop really quick.

I clicked on this thread to type that exact sentiment.
I can see that an officer would, as part of his training, be ready to ensure that people weren’t judged other than by their readiness for duty.
As soon as you have an officer whose whole job is to ensure compliance with current political memes, you have the NKVD all over again.

What is the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute? Do they force everyone to be deniers of Christ? Who are these people and what is the point except to shut up Christians? What happened to Christians who waged war against the Followers of the Prophet? What have we become? Merry Christmas!

Why are efforts at secularization especially strong in the Army?
Because the leadership knows it is THOSE guys who will most receive orders to fire on Americans after the dollar goes kaput.
So there is a RACE on to create the army that the leadership NEEDS.

Ahh, it’s happening due to the Commander in chief being Hussein Obama. He prefers “Allah, Akbar” not “Merry Christmas”.
