90s music totally kicked ass.90s music rocked. I can't even begin to count. But let's limit ourselves to only 90s females to make it easy: Louise Post, Nina Gordon, Liz Phair, Juliana Hatfield, Courtney Love, Tanya Donelly, Kim Deal, Alanis Morisette, P.J. Harvey, L7, Sheryl Crow,... Where to end? Please indulge this list...

You can't see it in this video but Tanya Donelly is plugged in to
TWO Fender Twin Amplifiers.
That's f*#king deafening. That's rock and roll!
Slow Dog
And Liz Phair? Don't even get me started...
Supernova (recent live). She's still just so smoking hot...

Holy Crap! I bet there is a grand total of 1 thread with a verucasalt keyword...
I agree with EEE. After some really bad 80's pop (to me, "real" 80's music is just about all metal)... there were some decent acts getting popular airplay on MTV (which still actually played Music Videos), and alternative pop radio. I owned American Thighs on cassette... Seether was great... lots of radio play... but my favorite on the alhum was, hands down, Spiderman '79.

I play in a band with a guy who has another gig going and played in front of 26,000 people earlier this year.
Looks like a crowd is nearing 100,000 in the video. Can’t imagine the rush that must be.

Oh...and Gwen Stefani and Lita Ford!P>Saw No Doubt open for British reggae star Pato Banton at a bar in Ft Collins, CO back right before Tragic Kingdom blew up. I recall trying to look up a very young and energetic Gwen Stefani's skirt while she was on stage. I succeeded. I was disappointed. She was wearing black bike shorts under her kilt.

Twenty five years ago was 1988. Ol’ Frank wasn’t really doing much of anything back then. He died from prostate cancer in 1993.

I grew up with an older brother and sister. In the 60’s Sis was into the Beatles, Beach Boys, Moma’s Papa’s, Turtles, Dave Clark Five....Bro came of music age and it was Frank Zappa, Zepplin, Hendrix, Allmans, Cream, etc.
When I came of music age it was Eagles, Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Allmans, Skynrd, Who, Jethro Tull, etc..Then came the 80’s and music died.
The early 90’s was a resurrection of Rock’n Roll and finally drove a nail into that keyboard driven crap from the 80’s.
