up until a week ago I was going on HP to basically post headlines of news stories that HP did not (would not) post. It was entertaining for me to see the vitriolic comments posted in response to the mere presentation of FACT.
That was when I could use a phoney email.
I’ll have to get those jollies elsewhere somehow now.
Several online news sites have converted to Facebook member comments. Can’t think of the last time someone commented in the local rag. Crickets.

That quote is crap and he knows it. Their legions of censors delete posts from the more conservative of us on a regular basis.
They allow their liberal posters to spew as the please, using catchphrases such as monkey-Bush, Bush-Hitler, Teabagger, ect. If a conservative uses any thing to put their messiah, the man behind the curtain, the Great and Wonderful OZbama (I would be deleted for that), in a bad light you get the boot. Any derivative of Liberal like libnut, libtard, Dimocrap, ect, is booted. Republicants, Repugnicans, all good. Obumble, Odumble, booted.
No matter what spin they put on it, Huff-N-Puff, as I refer to it, is an extremely radical liberal ultra-left leaning site, permeated with a wide range of America haters who live in a universe totally bereft of commonsense.
All in all I love to go there just to confront their unbelievable naivety with facts and proof. It really confuses then and sometimes a head might explode. It's fun.
I hope they can kill it off, then they can all invade and kill of Salon and Slate.

Gannett did the same thing with the reional newspaper here. Monday morning, looking to make comments... nope! The newspaper demanded that I create a Facebook account, to read the comments.
Here’s the kicker. My published article showed on the Saturday before that Monday! I could not go see if folks had placed comments at my own published article, without the creation of a Facebook page.
I informed the Features Editor, that this new system, locked me out of my own article. As to her response, I refused the rights to any of my articles, withdrew any future articles that I WAS going to submit, and of course, gave her directions how to get there.
And in the time since, the CIA has admitted, that it was THEY who devised Facebook!!
Our local Gannett newsrag did that a couple of years ago. The kinds of opinion columns and letters to the editor that used to get hundreds of responses in the online forum now get a dozen or so, and those which garnered dozens in the past get a few or none. Says something about FB.
