We should all own safe dogs like Bassett Hounds.
And safe cars like Volvos.
And eat safe food like gruel.
And live in safe housing like government projects.
We should only think safe thoughts.
People who have the guts to step outside the safe lines should be shot as inflamatory revolutionaries.
We should turn over all our weapons before we hurt ourselves.
Hell, maybe we should invest in bubble wrap.
Some of us should endeavor to get the sand out of our vaginas.
Thank God that the generations before ours weren’t such nancies.
I am becoming embarrassed for FR.
The list of who I’d want in my metaphorical foxhole grows shorter every day.
Freeper go crazy over pit bulls
It really is a cat forum
Thanks for noticing sarcasm and the context of my other posts
Some failed to see that
I have always owned dogs capable of harm
And I like some pits
I prefer Rotts
They are actually more capable of killing
But fewer in number and often...less thuggish owners
Except in this old lady case
The poor pairs can’t choose their owner
We had a white white one...a real pistol he was
I have a Serbian rott now...at training school as we speak
And a Johnson ABD bitch
Folks sure talk smack from their safe confines
I consider my family blessed because Pit Bull owners generally cannot afford to live in our neighborhood.
Keyboard commandos.

If you're pimping for an apology, you aren't going to get one from me.
Lots of people keep pitbulls to terrorize their neighbors, and take great delight that their neighbors are terrified. When one breaks through their fence, or pulls free of their leash, and kills or mauls someone else who was just minding their own business, the attitude of pitbull owners is like, "Oh well, that'll show'em," as if the ownership of these reptilian-brained canines is more important than the lives of other humans.
Perhaps you're not that sort of dog owner, but far too many are.
The woman in the article had a killer dog; it killed her instead of some other person, some innocent person.
That is justice.

Are you unfamiliar with the term ‘ rescue dog”?
It is a common term for dogs ‘ rescued from death’ at the local animal shelters.
You do know if an animal that is at most shelters in most cases will be put to death unless adopted?
I am not sure what your problem is but maybe some education on what goes on at shelters, except the No kill shelters and how many pets die each year
I had a pit that retrieved. Had to shame him into the first time, but he loved it after that.

My daughter’s border collie retrieves.
You can tell by the look on her face (the dog’s) that she knows this is beneath her, that she has more important work to do, but it makes the human happy.
Retrieves ducks? That would be impressive for a Border Collie. Nemo loved retrieving. He just wasn’t the world’s best swimmer. I used to shoot arrows into a loose dirt bank. I couldn’t find one one day, so I put him on it. He found it pretty fast, and I turned to leave. He sat there and looked at me. To humor him, I went over and rummaged around some more. Found an arrow from weeks earlier. He gave me that “idiot” look and turned and walked away.
Oh no, not ducks, whatever is being thrown. But will retrieve from the water. Pretty funny to watch her swim, almost vertical. My daughter also has a chocolate lab, so the border collie learned by watching the lab.
Like retrieving, the look on the border collie’s face while swimming is a classic ‘what the heck am I doing this for?’
