There is nothing to debate. If OSU wins they will play for the national title. The SEC was and still is way overrated this year. They should try going 2 years undefeated then they can have a point.

As an UGA fan, I don’t care. I am not even going to watch the two bozos in the game this weekend.

Winning the last 7 BCS championships in a row is the real test of a conference. OSU had a hard time beating a mediocre Michigan team. The SEC has the best talent and the best teams. The NFL rosters are dominated by the SEC along with the Pro Bowl.

Who the hell has OSU played? Compare that to Auburn or Missouri schedules.

Would you clarify this jibberish? You may have a point in there, but the way you wrote it, you conflated teams and conferences and ended up making a bass ackward point………how does a conference go undefeated two years in a row? OR, how does Ohio State going undefeated two years in a row prove the SEC is over rated or that the Big Ten is great??????? You make no sense here…..so try again….

The SEC has won the BCS Championship 7 years in a row. Until some other conference can demonstrate some parity with the SEC, which none has recently, the SEC should have the right to defend its supremacy with a one-loss team. Oregon and Notre Dame talked some hype, but they melted when they came out to play the big boys. I give FL State some respect, but not Ohio State as long as they hide behind their schedule in a 2nd class conference, undefeated or not. The Big 10 needs to prove they are worthy again. They used to be, but they haven’t been in quite a while. I look forward to the day the Big 10 can redeem themselves. It is much more fun to “hate” (in a competitive sense) them that way . . . :)

Yes. The important thing is to make sure the SEC doesn’t play in the championship game unless it is Alabama. Auburn should be ranked higher than both FSU and OSU. The Buckeys played no one, the Noles “hard” games were Miami and Clemson. Auburn beat the Crimson Tide who have! Come on!

If Ohio State played in the SEC this year, they'd have 3-4 losses, depending on their schedule, and wouldn't even be playing for the SEC championship. I like Urban Meyer, and they are a good team, but playing in a conference like the SEC is a long distance race that requires more than OSU has to win.

Every year, for the past seven years, someone (usually a Big 10 fan) makes the statement that the SEC is overrated....and every year the SEC crushes their opponent in the championship - except in 2012 when it was an all SEC game. Last year, there was a large group here who were certain Notre Dame would beat Alabama. Right.

The only team that can give Alabama or Auburn a game is FSU. If FSU plays OSU for the BCS, then it will be another slaughter.

What’s Florida State’s SOS rank? Auburn lost to a 3 loss LSU team that lost to a 4 loss Georgia team that had toruble against North Texas State and needed 2 OT’s to beat GA Tech?

And what was Alabama’s signature win this year? Virginia Tech?
