SALT LAKE CITY Josh Romney says he helped four people after a vehicle crashed into a house Thanksgiving night in suburban Salt Lake.
****
He also tweeted about the wreck, along with a picture of himself next to the vehicle.

Not modest, but good he helped I would think.
Oh for godsake. The guy did a great deed. No one was seriously injured, he had a pic taken by the wreck. As ever, the Lib media goes nuts.
Oh, good grief, he took his pic by the car not a dead body.
Dude does great thing. Then really does the gay thing of posing and posting the after action deed on twitter.
Criticized by whom for what?
If I was where a car crashed into a Home and ended up in the Kitchen landing on its side, I would have taken a picture and sent it out. Doesn’t happen everyday in my life.
So, he helps people and he’s the bad guy?
If the car wasn’t on fire, was it really safer to extricate them, unless they had no injury at all, than to let the first responders do it?
So?
Given the notoriety of his family, he should have known better, it comes across as self-promoting. Plenty of other people his age would have done exactly the same, though, assuming they were brave enough and caring enough to even bother themselves with stopping to assist. So, I’d give him a break, he knows better now. Live and learn.
Um, private pics? As if that’s in any way foreign to youth today.
It was actually very Cory Bookerish of him.
Check out some of the reactions on this thread. Either they’re Obama fans or react like Dracula to a cross to any mention of the name “Romney.” All of these people are hurting themselves by being on any kind of political forum, and should disconnect and get help. They’re in it too deep.
If I were in the same situation, it would not occur to me to take a picture of myself, smiling, with such a backdrop.
Your mileage may vary.
Freegards,
Yep, I think it’s the “Look at me. See what a great thing I did?” behavior which bothers a lot of folks.
Some people never learned it is possible to do a good deed with no Internet acknowledgment of said deed.
So.. Exactly the reason for some reactions. Not everyone is required to spike the football in public.
Once you had ascertained everybody was okay and your friend (or wife, or whoever) wanted to take a pic of you at the scene ... Really, would you have done any different? This obviously media-generated “controversy” is ridiculous.
So someone does. So WHAT? Are you the arbiter of all your acquaintances' behavior?
Well it’s not like he claimed to be the subject of a novel and movie, or to have invented the internet. Damn those Christians doing good deeds, we all know it’s only for attention.
