The accident was over, the people were OK and it was to say the least a unique situation.

Really, honestly, I’m just wondering why you people care so much about this incident. It’s like some sort of psychosis. The dude rescued four people from a crashed car. No one was seriously injured. He had his pic taken beside the wrecked car by some pal. He was grinning (maybe the pal had just made a freaking joke, for godsake). WHY ARE YOU SO TICKED OFF ABOUT THIS???
Didn't Cuomo get his picture taken many times today, at the site of a train wreck, to be plastered all over the Internet & shown on national TV? And did NOTHING useful; just got in the way of the real workers?
Oh, that's right; it is supposed to show that "he cares", and is "taking charge".
I’m not ticked off. I just want to see your list of good deeds that you insist you would publicize if you had any. I’m sure it would be an interesting read. And I know you would publicize it, because you said so.
I know people who like to post about themselves and their experiences. I don’t see that as a flaw. Just one of the differences that makes us all unique. What I do see as a flaw is the need to tear others down and accuse them of never having performed any good deeds, simply because you feel yourself losing an argument.

No dumb dumb he did the RIGHT thing… He puts up the story and the picture so that everyone will see what he did and that encourages all of us to also act bravely when others need us. It’s called giving good example. Catchin’ on now..slow boat to China…?

You know, here’s the thing, these pols can’t win. If they go to a site they’re photo opping; if they don’t go, they’re bums who don’t care.
I know, people are going to think I’m a big Cuomo fan because I keep talking about him here today, but I’m not. And I’ve thought this before of pols from both parties.
I think they have to show up.
As to Romney I have no opinion, this is what young people do nowadays, take pictures of themselves, their lunches, whatever.
I’d rather see a guy standing by a freaky car wreck, where he helped, where all involved were OK, than a picture of someone’s spaghetti & meatballs.
That’s my Mom’s fault. Although I’m sure there’s somebody here who would blame Bush.
If he hadn't gone, nobody would have been the wiser.
