Norton says not a problem which may mean they can't fix it.

Download superantispyware and it’ll get rid of it.

Here’s one set of instructions but I dont know good they are. Do a search on aartemis and you’ll find plenty more.

I’d suggest installing malwarebytes and a different anti-virus. Norton is part of your problem. Avast and AVG both have free versions which are far better.

I might. But first I need to know the porn site you think you got it from.

I have solo-antivirus and have had no problems. Have not heard of the virus you mentioned.

I’ll second AVG. Works for me.

Agreed that both Avast and AVG are great, but AVG started bloating my particular system about 18 months ago, so I switched totally to Avast free.

Has anybody with AVAST Free Edition Virus Scan using XP had any problems with the recent 2014 AVAST program update? I downloaded it the night before last and immediately Yahoo was blocked along with about half of other should be safe websites. I did a Restore this morning and rolled back the update and it cleared the problem. Before doing that I shut down AVAST Web Shield several times the restore and Yahoo would open up.

Thanx! I’ve been having some slow browser issues so I’ll take a ride with Avast.
