A pretty funny show. I haven’t seen watched it in years. Rest in Peace. I think it is so unfortunate that she died on a holiday. I feel so sorry for the family. There should be a law......lol.

Sad to hear that.
What an iconic program that was.

The Honeymooners, from that handful of shows in the 50's to the Jane Kean days were so incredibly funny, I nearly choked to death laughing while watching them.

Great Caesar's Ghost! Those people were funny!

That was great, old original TV. A sparse set and the actors’ characters carried the day.

Though, it has to be said that much of early TV was derived from the great radio programs of those times.

I saw her when she made an appearance at the opening of a new toy store in Jacksonville, FL back in the 60s. I was just a kid, of course, but I remember it well. RIP.

I always enjoyed Kean’s interpretation of Trixie. She had a funny, old-fashioned, sort of ‘vaudeville-esque’ way of delivering lines. Made things seem funny and create a laugh even if the line was a groaner. Joan Davis was good at that too.

I think Jean was sister to Betty Kean, who appeared in a few films back in the early-1940s, and was known for her quirky, humorous dance routines. I remember her mostly from an old Republic b-comedy starring Dennis O’Keefe.

Joyce Randolph, who played Trixie on the original series, turns 95 today.
