PBS "Lincoln '@' Gettysburg" - Good but Democrat!

Excellent hour-long program in a "Ken Burns' style" but not done by him. Nothing in the editorial text is objectionable but of the 9 'presenter / speakers' involved (list below), none were readily identifiable as Republican while 2 were definitely identifiable as Democrats.

I know it is what we have come to expect from PBS, but I have written to this program's producer, Partisan Pictures, to ask why they made this choice? If we, as conservatives, do not make our observations known and point out the liberal biases, we should not wonder at college grads identifying Lincoln as a Democrat President!

Yeah, I did make the point in the letter I wrote that Gen. Powell would be a copout as a Republican, based on his comments since leaving office! Besides, Melissa Harris-Perry!?!? They couldn't have gotten Condi Rice as a select "woman of color" and accomplishment?

Tried to watch it, but the modern day liberal spin was awful. Turned it off when it got too annoying.

If any of them had family at Gettysburg it would be a shock to me.

If “Partisan Pictures” responds, tell them to freepmail me and I’ll be happy to provide them with name, rank and brigade number for lots of my family who were there those few days, on both sides of the fight. We’ll have their descendants comment on their experiences, although many of them left letters that can be read!

Isn’t it hilarious that a bunch of Noo Yawk Commies, the descendants of 1920s Marxists and Bolsheviks now idolize the first successful Republican?

Too bad the liberals have no idea what any of this means. Lincoln spoke of the rebirth of freedom, the rededication of the Declaration and the founding principles, ie, one nation under God, conceived in Liberty; that we are all created equal and endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are the rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness (the American dream). The liberals have tried to destroy this for the last 100 years and Obama is doing it on steroids. If Lincoln restored the Declaration, saved the Republic and freed the slaves, Obama is doing the exact opposite. The Marxist usurper is denying the Word of God, denying us our unalienable rights, ignoring the Declaration, destroying the Constitution, destroying the Republic, ending freedom, killing the American dream and enslaving us all to government tyranny.
