Deer Attacks 2 Men in Texas, Steals Cigarettes

A pair of Texas deer hunters became the hunted when a wild buck attacked them and as they walked out of a home last week.

“He came up and starting poking me in my ribs, so I grabbed his horns and pushed him back and hopped in the back of my truck,” Rose said.

The deer then snagged Rose’s cigarettes from his dashboard and began eating them, Rose said.

When Rose tried to get his smokes back, the deer attacked again.

It took five deputies and a stun gun to eventually restrain the deer, the station said.

Rose and Kellis told the station that one officer broke his wrist and another was kicked in the leg during the struggle.

“Scuffed them all up. Almost every police officer that was here was (injured),” Kellis said.

If it was a neighbor's dog instead of a deer this would have ended differently.
