A Dear Abby column this week featured a concerned mom who had learned that the condoms she was buying for her 17-year-old daughter were being given to her daughter’s friends.
The mom, who was proud that her daughter felt comfortable enough to confide in her, was concerned about the price of supplying multiple sexually-active teenagers with condoms, but alas, she considered that perhaps this expense was worthwhile “if I can help to prevent an unwanted pregnancy.” The question, from “Safe Sex Advocate in Iliinois,” went like this:
DEAR ABBY: My 17-year-old daughter confided that she has become sexually involved with her boyfriend and asked if I would buy condoms for her. I agreed that she should protect herself and bought her a box of 12.
A week later, she informed me that she needed another 12-pack. When I asked why she had run out so quickly, she confessed that she has been supplying them to her girlfriends. Apparently they can’t confide in their moms the way she can with me.
My dilemma is that condoms are expensive and, on one hand, I don’t want to be the one supplying a group of kids. On the other hand, if I can help to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, maybe it’s worth it. What do you think I should do? — Safe Sex Advocate in Illinois
How do you think dear old Abby responded? Basically, she broadcasted a free advertisement for Planned Parenthood. Here’s how it went:
DEAR SAFE SEX ADVOCATE: If your daughter’s friends are old enough to be sexually active, they and their boyfriends should also be responsible enough to provide their own birth control. Generally, teens do not need the permission of their parents to receive information about it. Because you want to help them avoid unwanted pregnancies (as well as STDs), direct them to the nearest Planned Parenthood Center for low-cost or no-cost birth control and instruction on how to use it. There are 18 of these health centers in Illinois. To find the one closest to you, go to PlannedParenthood.org.
A few reasons why referring vulnerable teens to Planned Parenthood may not have been Abby’s brightest moment:
-Planned Parenthood makes a lot of money off of sexually active teens who do become pregnant and pursue abortion.
The Washington Times:”… abortion continues to account for the overwhelming majority of Planned Parenthood’s services for pregnant women, making up 92 percent of the organization’s pregnancy services.”
-Planned Parenthood helps to keep parents out of the reproductive health choices of their daughters by encouraging girls to seek judicial bypass in regions where parental consent is required before an abortion is performed on a minor. That means Planned Parenthood wants to help your daughter procure an abortion – and profit off the price tag from whomever is paying for it – without your knowledge or consent. Planned Parenthood markets itself as pro-parent, but when parents get in the way of profits, they hit the bottom of the totem pole.
-Planned Parenthood has been caught failing to report sexual abuses on underage girls (like those to whom condoms were being provided by the mom above). No loving parent – especially not the type of concerned mother who wrote to Abby – wants their daughter to go through the type of anguish (like statutory rape) which Planned Parenthood has been documented perpetuating on minor girls.
Planned Parenthood is undoubtedly grateful for Abby’s free commercial, but if the concerned mom knew the facts about Planned Parenthood that Abby forgot to mention, maybe she would think twice before sending minors to them.
The condoms distributed by Planned Parenthood have a substantially above average failure rate. No joke. It's like they push a thumbtack through each package before they sell it.
The abortion industry is very evil. They would love to help anyone's daughter get free birth control.
Wouldn’t you need a Ouija board to get advice from Dear Abby. She must be sending in her column from the Great Beyond.

It was in more recent years, but yes, she died. Her daughter has been writing the column for years. They are/were big time gay advocates. The original "Abby" was also a big time supporter of Planned Parenthood for several decades.
I can believe it. Last year in Orlando, FL, the dead did more than just vote; one of them ran and won. Earl K. Wood had been the Orange County tax collector for 44 years; when he died three weeks before the election, nobody bothered to remove his name from the ballot, and the voters were so used to having him around that they re-elected him anyway!
“Cool” parents are part of what is destroying our country and our kids. I’d love to see more in prison or handing their stinking houses over to parents who actually give a damn.
I’d be the most hated mom on the block after calling all friends’ parents to tell them it’s time they start footing the bill for their precious princesses. My little skank would be getting a job so she won’t have so much free time to go through a box so quickly. Then I’d become boyfriend’s bff just to see how fast she dumps him.
Abigail Van Buren died in January at age 94. She had stopped writing her column years prior due to Alzheimers. I read someplace that the column is now actually being written by a guy.

Have your daughter use the aspirin method of birth control. This is done by her placing an aspirin between her knees and holding it in place anytime she either is with the boyfriend, or has the urge to engage in intercourse.

Why has the local editor of your local newspaper who lives in your local neighborhood not received a face-to-face from you, locally, in person, where you asked the local editor why he carries Dear Abby in your local paper?
“Abby” also advises heterosexual college students who receive and undesired homosexual roomate that they should chill out and get over their bigotry.
But the problem isn’t Abby. It’s our local news editors who carry MSM wire feeds.
I am fully comfortable with Dear Abby appearing in my local newspaper.
That way I can be sure that no one will read it.

It was recently published that a percentage (10% or more, I believe) of the PPH condoms were of low quality and failed. Thus, driving up their business!
It is a mom's job to watch her children carefully and be attentive to proper instruction and take those times in the early grades to endorse moral behavior.
It is a dad's job to do the same thing.
Together they are designed to present a united front representing the truth that is solid and penetrating to the soul of the child.
When a mom resorts to handing out condoms it means that she never did her job she was handed by God in order to train up her children properly.
A "slut" is anybody that has had more sex than I have.
A "b!itch is a slut that will do anybody but me. A "skank" is a wannabe slut that has no intention of becoming a b!tch.
How pathetic and tragic is the fact that this young girl is servicing a guy who doesn’t have the money to even buy a condom? Apparently all the girlfriends are sleeping with guys who don’t either since this enlightened mom is footing the bill. And liberals keep screaming that Christian conservatives have a war against women???
