“Fill er up with Exotic” — That’ll be $1 trillion per gallon and your tank took 50,000 gallons.

What happens when a bug (any space crap) hits the windshield at warp 8?

Warp 9 will still keep you within the Milky Way galaxy.

It'll never fly. Because it has nothing to do with NASA’s primary mission of money and technology transfer to radical Islam.

Even being able to expand into our arm of the galaxy would be a dream come true.

Since this is in Houston, I suggest they let Sheila Jackson Lee be the first to test it out.

The last thing on the bug's mind would be it's anus.

1/2 * m * v * v is going to be huge even if m is small. That’s a problem for sure. A big problem.

bending light is a long way from warping space

he might want to look into the manhattan project where they used massive electro magnets in an attempt to hide a ship in plain sight (by forcing light around the ship instead of bouncing off it)

my guess is, he’s about to get a visit from some guys in black suits that will explain his experiments are classified and he must cease and desist

Where are we going to find enough dilithium crystals to run the thing?

warp drive doesn’t run on dilithium crystals, the crystals focus the energy for the warp drive. They wear down over time from the intense energy focusing.

"Now, White thinks the drive could be powered by a collection of exotic mass magic about the size of NASA's Voyager 1 probe if the rings housing the mass were shaped like a donut and oscillate over time".

Just correcting.
