At least one mother told KCAL9′s Tom Wait she was upset after hearing that her 7-year-old daughter was allegedly forced to kneel before Carter.
She says that she has to drop down on one knee with her hands at her side, wait for the principal to come out, lift his arms and tell them to go to class, said the mom.
I feel that the principal wants to be like a king, and we dont have kings in America, she added.
District officials said Carter will schedule a future meeting with parents to plan different safety options on campus.

At the meeting, the principal should kneel before his employers (the taxpayers), as a safety measure.
“Kneel before Zod”.
Ping
Sounds awfully close to child abuse.
public school is child abuse.
All kneel before your lord and master, Dana Carter!
How could this possibly be a “safety issue” for elementary school kids?
If it's anything more than a one-time, goofing around with the kids - type thing, I'd say that this guy had a few issues.
Maybe enough issues so that he doesn't need to be in the position that he's in.
In a sane country, this idiot would be fired. Um... Parents? Do your duty and lobby to get this tyrant wannabe FIRED.
Looks like your typical “Soft-Handed” WUSSY!
Be patient.
After reading this flyer, some kids have more to worry about than kneeling at school.
D- for the parent that wrote this.
?
pedo
for sure
who the h*** wants 7 year olds kneeling before him?
fruitcake
Really?
So, the parent took the time to actively campaign against this, and you are saying that this parent is somehow stupid because his message wasn’t perfect and the kids should be worried about this parent instead.
Would you have even taken the time to do this? I doubt it. You would have done nothing. You probably would not have even realized it was happening.
Have we met?
Educate the messenger.
At least the parent got the message across to other parents which is the important thing.
