Wright, that screed was a thousand words of wandering blather, and a complete waste of my time to read. It’s obvious that it’s nothing more than your uneducated opinion on an area that you have little to no practical experience with.

You’re pushing the GOP-e pro-illegal viewpoint here. Don’t think that others can’t see it. You’re giving lots of reasons why we should allow the poor illegals to remain in this country, and not acknowledging the incredible damage they’ve done to America. You’re touting the liberal viewpoint that they’re a net plus for our economy, when they are NOT. They’re a net drag.

In the same breath, you cast aspersions on American citizens by implying that they’re a degraded lot, who won’t do hard work for a living. Do you even realize how insulting that statement is to everyone reading here?

Illegals aren’t just taking the sh*t shoveling jobs from Americans. No - they’re now thoroughly imbedded in the skilled trades as well, which you’d know, if you ran a business in industry like I do.

Your views are repugnant, Wright. They’re the same putrid views that are held by the left, and the RINOs who support cheap illegal labor. That makes you an enemy of everything I stand for.

Actually dude, I am not pushing the GOP e point of view at all. They are not saying anything like what I am saying. And I have written extensively on the absurdity of their immigration reform bill. Oh, wait, I've written a book that is causing a huge stir in the entire establishment, causing Karl Rove to seek me out and personally insult me to my face a couple weeks ago in fact. What is astounding is that in the face of tow non emotional and very reasoned histories - you have gotten angrier and more absurd in your assumptions. Put politely, you don't have anywhere near the anti GOP e cred I do.....enjoy:

What’s telling is that I listend to your experience, told you I was sorry your income had been hit, and that I too had suffered that. I mentioned where your industry and mine were different, giving you every opportunity to have common ground. I do think an advanced industry like yours has totally different dynamics than the unskilled industries do, and yet, you simply just got more ticked off and more pathetic in your hissy throwing.

I think this reaction on your part, your increasing rage and absurd rantings as I get more and more calm and un-emotional speaks volumes.

...your description of deliberate and malicious really makes me question your alleged experience. Your knee jerk blame of business, instead of the government that caused all of these problems, makes me think that even more. I just do not know a single business person who deliberately or maliciously set about hiring an illegal labor force, nor do I know any real businessman who blames business, and not government, for these problems.

"Alleged experience"? You can take that insult and stick it where the sun don't shine, bucko. You think everyone commenting on Free Republic is a keyboard jockey with nothing more than an opinion? Like you?

If you had the first clue what you were talking about, you'd never make the sort of comments you're making now. You sound exactly like some liberal academic who's never had to work a day in his life, and who analyzes everything through the filter of leftist ideology.

Now you're claiming to have some sort of experience in hiring, yet in the same breath, you say that you're simply incredulous that any contractor or other business person would intentionally hire illegal aliens to lower their costs, and to gain an unfair advantage over their competition.

Really?

That statement is a dead giveaway to who and what you are, Wright. The practices I describe are widespread and at epidemic proportions throughout the skilled and semi-skilled industries today. You would KNOW that, if you had spent the last thirty years of your life in industry, like I have.

This is getting tiresome, Wright. If you insist upon continuing to pimp the GOP-e pro-illegal line, I'm going to have to start pinging other folks to your comments. You've been here long enough to know that Jim Robinson doesn't allow FR to be used as a platform for those repugnant views.

Anything short of imprisonment and/or deportation is amnesty. Deport them all now. I'm sorry about the families that would be torn apart. I'm sorry about the children whose futures would be turned to dust. I'm sorry it would turn Mexico into a failed state in a matter of months. But if we don't save our country then we will all be torn apart, future-less and living in a failed state.

Wright, you're out of your depth. You don't have enough familiarity with skilled and semi-skilled trades to speak intelligently about this. If you'd ever done anything more in your life than sit behind a desk, you'd know that there's little difference in the dynamics between the different skill levels.

The only dynamics that matter in this conversation, are the ones that have undermined the natural economics of this country.

Now I have got to go. I've got a business to run.

Yeah, you are. You're just too fixated on your sterile, academic views of the problem to see it. Guys like you are Karl Rove's best friends.

So tell me, how is it to live in a world where you never actually face up to people who disagree with you - you just throw mindless, absurd and demonstrably false accusations at them? How is that bubble? Really, that’s an experience I’ve never had - and yet - one that you exist in each and every moment. How is it to totally disengage your brain while over charging your emotion? How does that feel?

Look what you’ve let yourself become...after we started this thread on agreement, and we do agree on what is 90-95% of this issue...and yet, you won’t recognize that now, you refused my repeated attempts to re-establish where we do agree, and you’ve descended into all kinds of absurd accusations.

Dude, I did not cause your economic problems. It’s not my fault. It may or may not be your fault...sometimes good business people fail and sometimes bad business people have success....but your bitterness oozes out and swallows up where we agree. And BTW, where we agree includes the first step that must be done....until which....the areas where you and I dsagree are IMMATERIAL. And yet, you skip right past that with accusations that are outlandish and born out of rage and not logic.

I even offered an avenue to explain our disagreement...and you just got even angrier. Yes, I still think that your macro economic understanding is limited and skewed, but I never accused you of being dishonest or a criminal or impugned your motives. Yet you did repeatedly.

Insistence on ignoring what we agree on and ignoring my published anti GOP establishment history is just folly on your part. I am sorry things are so bad for you that your bitter root cannot be exorcised. I know down deep in you is the ability to think rationally.

Your ignorance does not change reality. I can only assume that you lie constantly on this forum, since you blithely assume that everything I say historically is just false. I think we call that projection, and I guess, safely hiding behind a screen name, you just lie all the time and assume everyone else does also. But again, truth does not require validation of the ignorant.

Wright, you're boring me. You're a hack with a keyboard who can churn out words, but can't make (or comprehend) a reasoned argument.

I've laid out the basic dynamics of the illegal immigration scourge to you at least twice during this exchange. Both times, you ignored those facts, and replied with some off the wall opinion, which did nothing to address the points I made.

Even worse, the moment we began to disagree, you insulted me by assuming that I'd never hired blue collar workers, or run a business. This, before you'd even bothered to ask, which was extremely rude and juvenile.

You've also repeatedly failed to explain an assertion you made several posts back. I'll ask you for the third time:

Explain what sort of "pain" Americans would endure if the illegals all suddenly returned home.

More insults - no discussion. How predictable. You've proven beyond a shadow of doubt that you're covertly advancing the establishment agenda on Free Republic.

I've got your number, Wright. Keep it up, and the whole forum will.
